The bad quality I mean the scan, If it were vectorized, or painted, so as the bg, it would be awesome, because the bg was a great choice.

The text on the revised version does look a lot better. Congrats! I'll be using it in the rotation of my desktop walls as well. =D Good luck with your future projects as well.

Lol. There's no reason to apologize. I wouldn't call it being abused anyway (I've really seen font abuse before though), so don't worry about it. =D And yeah, you can update your wallpaper with edits later (there's the "Edit" link under the "Options" column to the left of where it tells you the comments/faves stats). Good luck with the changes! I can't wait to see them as well as your future walls.
